- Gmail Send Access (gmail.send): to allow users to send emails directly from their Gmail account within JourneyWise.
- Gmail Compose Access (gmail.compose): to create and manage draft emails before sending.
- Gmail Modify Access (gmail.modify): to manage email states (mark as read/unread, move to folders) for workflow automation.
- Gmail Labels Access (gmail.labels): to organize and categorize emails for productivity.
- Calendar Read Access (calendar.readonly): to display user availability and prevent double-booking.
- Calendar Full Access (calendar and calendar.events): to create, update, and cancel meetings directly within JourneyWise.
1.4 Publicly Available and Purchased Data
- Public business directories and professional networking sites.
- Purchased lead lists and data enrichment services (e.g., Lusha, Clearbit, ZoomInfo).
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your data for the following purposes:
2.1 Providing and Managing the Service
- Creating and maintaining your account.
- Delivering features such as lead tracking, email automation, AI-powered insights, and scheduling.
2.2 Improving and Securing the Platform
- Enhancing performance and preventing fraud.
- Monitoring security and system access.

3. Google API Services
JourneyWise's use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We use Gmail and Calendar access only to provide the following functionality:
- AI summaries of emails to save sales reps time.
- Intent detection to identify buyer signals such as pricing or meeting interest.
- Engagement tracking to show when prospects respond.
- Meeting scheduling and availability sharing with Google Calendar.
We do not use Gmail or Calendar data for advertising, nor do we share it with third parties.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share your data only with:
- Service Providers: Hosting (Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure), payments (Stripe, PayPal), analytics (Google Analytics, Sentry).
- Third-Party Integrations: With your consent, we connect to tools such as Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft 365, LinkedIn, Zoom, and others.
- Legal and Regulatory Authorities: Where required by law.
5. Data Retention
- Gmail and Calendar data accessed via Google APIs is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary to provide the described features.
- When a user revokes access in Google Account settings, JourneyWise immediately loses access to future Gmail and Calendar data.
- Historical data may be retained as needed for functionality, compliance, or legal purposes.
- Inactive free-tier accounts may be deleted after 6 months of inactivity.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights under privacy laws like UK GDPR, EU GDPR, CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), and PECR:
